Chapter 2 of 'The Resistance.'
By the time I had visited the children and the towns bordering the castle, I was quite fatigued. Aleena - the biggest city in Valeria, was the most tiring. Luckily we visited there first, when my arms were still fresh for tossing roses to the people. Had we visited Aleena after all the other towns - my arms may not have faired so well. We stayed longer in Merdis than any other stop, in order to unload extra roses that the town offered to take to thier sister town - Sirena - for us by way of ship. My senses hadn't quite kicked in enough to make me concious, but I was aware enough to hear someone's voice floating down from high above me. I reached out blindly and swatted at it before rolling over and pressing my face to the pillow.
"Today is an important day," the voice reminded me.
